Says actor-producer Ajay Devgn, whose film hits screens this Friday
This year, Diwali is bigger than usual at the Devgn residence. Ajay Devgn Produc- tions' All The Best hits theatres a day before. But the actor is seems cool, calm and confident when I meet him at his residence. The Akshay and Salman starrers releasing the same day as his film aren't stressing him even a wee bit. Read on to find out why he is so gung-ho...
Three reasons why one should see All The Best?
First, it's a laugh riot. We are not trying to make people laugh; the script itself is very funny. Secondly, it is a very clean film. Golmaal 2 worked, but it still had some double meaning dialogues. And thirdly, because it is releasing during Diwaliu00a0- a time when people want to get entertained and want to be together. All The Best is for people of all ages.u00a0
When three films come together, they eat into each other's business, so why release on the same day?
Once the strike ended, everyone used that excuse to come on Diwali. It had nothing to do with the strike actually, as some of the films (Blue) were shooting till last week. I announced my release date first and finished before anyone else, so why should I have backed out? However, it wasn't an ego issue. I would've backed out. In fact, I looked for a better release date. But there are no available release dates for the next four months. On October 23, there because three films are releasing on the 18th. After that, Aladin and London Dreams come followed by Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Jail. So everyone is eating into each other's business because there are no dates left. All films might not make good collections not because they're bad films but because they're releasing close to each other.
