Actor Ashish Chowdhary is known to be a fitness freak. One of the things that the actor-cum-entrepreneur does to stay fit is play cricket. He is also a part of Bollywood's cricket team that competes with stars from other Indian film fraternities. He speaks to CS about his love for cricket:
Hit wicket
Like every Indian, I am also very passionate about the game. I loved playing cricket as a kid, so when I got a chance to be a part of the Bollywood stars' team, I grabbed the opportunity. It is great fun playing with the likes of Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Sunil Shetty. Playing cricket also helps me stay fit.u00a0

I am a wicket-keeper batsman for my team. A wicket keeper's job requires a high level of fitness, so I have to train really hard. My favourite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I really admire him as a leader, wicket keeper and batsman. He brought home the World Cup, what more can we ask for? He is also a fearless batsman, who makes a dreaded opponent.u00a0
Stars on the field
Salman Khan who heads our team is very passionate about the game. He always tells us to play hard. It's the same with Anna (Sunil Shetty) who is also a hardcore cricket fanatic. He is the best captain one could ask for. My best buddy in the team is Riteish (Deshmukh). We indulge in a lot of pranks in the dressing room, which lightens the mood.
