However, it isn't as rosy as it sounds. On the weekend, some housing society from the neighbourhood complained to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) about the development.
Apparently, there were some lease-related issues due to which the BMC decided to demolish the construction. "Unfortunately, Arshad wasn't in town when this row happened. He was in Goa but the next day, he landed in the city and took the matters in his hands," says an informer.
According to the source, "Arshad had to give interviews for his upcoming movie Dedh Ishqiya on Friday but he had to take time off to bring things under control concerining his new home."
On enquring Arshad said, "I have just returned from Goa so I need to check what has exactly happened and then I can talk about it." u00a0
