Patiala House will be Sharma's pehla outside YRF; will the yesteryear screen couple's chautha appearance click?
Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will be reuniting on the big screen for the fourth time. The two have worked together in Bobby (1973), Sagar (1985), Pyaar Mein Twist (2005) and will now be seen in Nikhil Advani's next, titled Patiala House.
Interestingly, this will also be Anushka Sharma's first film outside the Yash Raj banner. She is paired opposite Akshay Kumar, who once again plays a Sikh character after Singh is Kinng.
Waiting for Dimple
A source reveals that Rishi Kapoor has already signed on the dotted line. "The film is set in Punjab and will star Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Nikhil has also approachedu00a0 Dimple Kapadia."
While Rishi has already agreed to be part of the project, Dimple is taking time due to her personal commitments. When contacted, Dimple agrees that she's been approached, "Nikhil has come to me with the project. I will definitely take a look at it. But at the moment, I am occupied with some personal matters." The actress is busy looking after her ailing sister.
If she gives a consent for this project, it will be the first time she will share screen space with her son-in-law Akshay Kumar. Last year, Dimple had dubbed for Akshay's animation film Jumbo. She was the voice of Jumbo's mother.
