The release date of Anurag Kashyap's new short film had to be postponed owing to the director's unavailability

Today was slated to be the day Anurag Kashyap was to release his new short film titled That Day After Every Day. However, the film's release has been pushed back, apparently because of the director's unavailability at the moment.

Ever since the controversy following the announcement of India's entry to the Oscars next year, Anurag went MIA on social networking sites and has apparently even limited his interactions with the outside world. Insiders say the producers wanted to promote their film but postponed their plans based on Anurag's absence. Says a source, "Producer Omer Haider has changed his plans as he knows Anurag is upset and needs his space."

However, a source from the production house says that today's date was a temporary one and that the final date will be decided upon by the end of this week. "We are looking forward to release the film in October. We have pushed the release date because we wanted to promote the film well. Anurag's presence during the promotions is important," adds the source.
