Music composer Amit Trivedi says the music of his upcoming Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Shandaar' will have a youthfully appeal.

Trivedi, who recently composed for Anurag Kashyap's period crime drama 'Bombay Velvet', says the soundtrack of the Vikas Bahl directed romantic-comedy is peppy.
"It's an out-and-out mad wedding film. From the word go, till the end, it is mad. The film is about how a wedding takes place in a particular place. So the whole soundtrack is full of shaadi and dhamal," he told PTI.
'Shaandaar' co-stars Shahid and Alia recently shared the first look of the film where the on-screen couple is seen cuddling each other. The movie will release on October 22.
Trivedi, who composed for Karan Johar produced romantic-comedy 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', said the music of 'Shaandaar' will have a different mood.
"There is a huge difference between what I composed for 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' and 'Shaandar'. There is no connection. More than typical Karan Johar, it is Vikas Bahl's. So the madness, the quirk is all Vikas'", he said.
The composer and Bahl created magic with their collaboration on Kangana Ranaut-starrer hit 'Queen', whose songs 'London Thumakda', 'Kinare' and 'Hungama Ho Gaya (Remix)' were very successful.
Trivedi said Anvita Dutt has written one number in the movie while his long time collaborator Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the rest of the songs.
His next movie 'Udta Punjab', directed by Abhishek Chaubey of 'Ishqiya' fame, is again with Phantom Films and is completely opposite of his "quirky" work in 'Shaandaar'.
"It's too early to talk about 'Udta Punjab', which releases next year. It's a dark film, about the massive drug abuse scene in Punjab. It's again Shahid and Alia but it'll be completely opposite of 'Shaandar'," Amit Trivedi said.
