Ali Zafar's younger brother Danyal Zafar was to debut in Yash Raj's upcoming film, Qaidi Band. His Bollywood aspirations were squashed after the ban on Pakistani actors post the Uri attacks last year.

Now, Danyal is following in his brother's footsteps. He has turned singer and makes his debut in the upcoming season of Pakistan Coke Studio. Danyal considers it the biggest platform to make a debut as the show reaches out to millions through music. His acting aspirations have been kept on the backburner for now.
