Ali Fazal plans to turn director with the short film, Atruro. The political drama takes a look at the rise and fall of dictatorships in the 21st century.
The actor, who has also written it, plans to start shooting in January. He says, "I am looking forward to taking the directorial plunge and step back from the cameras."
