The Khiladi star was recently shooting for HouseFull in Italy. The scene required him to jump off a balcony and land on the corresponding one on the opposite side, quite a distance away, where Deepika was waiting. So? Well, the balconies were on the sixth floor of the buildings, but Apna Akki refused to take the help of safety cables to do the shot. Both director Sajid Khan and action choreographer Angelo Ragusa told Akshay to buckle up but he flatly refused.
Finally, the two gave way. The watching crew mentally said their prayers and Akshay jumped. Much to the relief of everyone on set, he managed to hang on to the railings of Deepika's balcony safely. The shot was okayed in one take. Good going, Akshay!
