After the wrap up of Priyadarshan's Khatta Meetha, Akshay Kumar distributed over 10 lakh rupees to the crew of the film.

Known to be quite charitable, the actor was happy with the efficiency with which they wrapped up the schedule before time.

A source says, "Akshay is usually famous for giving big fat bonuses to the crew after the film wraps up.

But this time, he was extremely large-hearted and gave a really big amount to everyone -- from the technicians, spot boys, and to the junior artistes on the set."
