Makers of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Fanney Khan scout for another release date to avoid locking horns with Salman Khan's Race 3 at the box-office
Bollywood has deciphered that messing with a Salman Khan film, especially one that's scheduled for an Eid release, is not wise.
"Suicidal", rather, as trade analysts advised the makers of Fanney Khan, after news of the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer locking horns with Khan's Race 3 on Eid 2018, spread like wildfire. A trade analyst says, "Reactions to the news weren't favourable. Eid is locked for a Salman film. Any film clashing with it must be contextually strong."
A round of production meetings have resulted in the makers of Fanney Khan scouting for another release date. Interestingly, the film is also missing from production house T-Series' 2018 line-up.
