If the industry grapevine is to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has apparently given her nod to Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's production, 'Fanney Khan'

If the industry grapevine is to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has apparently given her nod to Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's production, 'Fanney Khan'. The long-in-the-planning film stars Anil Kapoor. Mehra had announced the film on social media in July last year.
After Sarbjit and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' (2016), Ash seemed to be in no hurry to greenlight her next. There has been talk about Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun with hubby Abhishek Bachchan, but it looks like Ash will take up 'Fanney Khan' first.
Directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar, the musical comedy is said to be inspired by Dominique Deruddere's Oscar-nominated Everybody's Famous (2000). Anil and Ash have earlier worked together in Satish Kaushik's Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000) and Subhash Ghai's Taal (1999).
