After Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone has now received her award for 'Padmaavat' from her 'Piku' co-star Amitabh Bachchan. The megastar has sent her a hand-written note to appreciate her performance in 'Padmaavat'. She has been receiving accolades from across quarters.
Terming the gesture as a 'reward' Deepika shared the token of appreciation on social media.
Amitabh Bachchan who recently watched Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat' is in all praises for Deepika. Amitabh Bachchan wrote a handwritten letter to Deepika Padukone expressing how much he loved her performance in the movie.

Deepika shares a special bond with Amitabh Bachchan who played her father onscreen in their 2015 release 'Piku'. The 'Padmaavat' actress has been riding high on success with the critics and box office acclaim that has been coming her way ever since the release of the film.
'Padmaavat' marks to be Deepika's 7th movie to clock the 100 crore figure on the box office, making her the only actress in Bollywood with such huge Box office collection.
