Last week, Priyanka Kothari (formerly known as Nisha Kothari) suffered an accident during the shooting of Ram Gopal Varma's Agyaat.
The accident took place in Athirapally forest, 60 km from Cochin. Priyanka was required to jump from a 15-foot tall structure.
She gave her first shot but she wasn't happy with the result and asked for another take.
This time, she slipped and injured her left leg. The injury brought the shoot to a halt.
Month of restPriyanka confirms, "I've torn a ligament and have been advised strict bed-rest for a month."
Priyanka is currently in Delhi with her family, "I flew down to Delhi as I have my parents and family here to take care of me."
Ramu adds, "Priyanka had a ligament tear and also our stunt woman broke her leg. Due to this, shooting was disrupted which we will make up for in a month, well in time to have a July release.
The film is written by Varma discoveries Punet Varma and Hari and is shot by a debutant cinematographer, Surjo.
It's about a film crew that loses its way in the jungles and something unknown out there starts killing them one by one. Nitin (a Telugu star) and Priyanka Kothari are the main leads in the film.
