Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, whose next production venture Shubh Mangal Saavdhan deals with erectile dysfunction, says there should be no reservations to bring to the fore stories that are compelling.
"Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a challenging and entertaining film for me. It touches a subject that you can't talk about in the open, but I am showing it in a way that people can talk about it openly," Rai says.
The Tanu Weds Manu franchise helmer feels films talking about bold subjects made in an interesting manner should be treated as family entertainers. "There should be no hesitation to present such stories as that is how we will progress."
