Aamir Khan has adopted two drought-hit state villages in the Koregaon taluka of Satara. The star is working with the Maharashtra government towards lessening the water crisis in the drought-hit state.

Along with the government, he has launched the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup - a water management and decentralisation contest among the villages of Maharashtra. (Read more)

The actor was in Beed and Satara recently to teach villagers the techniques of water conservation.
