Aamir Khan will launch the first song from his upcoming wrestling drama, 'Dangal', tomorrow ahead of Children's Day. The song titled, 'Baapu sehat ke liye tu toh haanikarak hai', has the star's reel daughters poking fun at him for being a taskmaster. Aamir plays a wrestling coach in the Nitesh Tiwari film.
Sources close to the actor say the song is, in no way, close to the Mr Perfectionist's off-screen persona. "He is quite liberal as a father, and is more of a friend to his children. He hardly says 'no' to them for anything they ask for," says a source.
Aamir has three children - Junaid, 21, and Ira, 16, with his first wife, Reena Dutta, and four-year-old Azad with second wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao.
In stark contrast to his equation with his children, Aamir will be seen as a disciplinarian, who pushes his daughters, Geeta and Babita, to fulfil his aspirations and excel in wrestling.
The song, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, has him making the girls follow a military-like regime without a minute of respite. Lines of the song go, "Baapu sehat ke liye tu toh haanikaarak hai, hum pe thodi daya toh kar, hum nanhe baalak hain, discipline itna⦠khudkushi ke laayak hai."
