AR Rahman honoured with the Fukuoka Prize in Japan

A R Rahman has bagged the Fukuoka Prize, established by Fukuoka city, in Japan.

The award honours outstanding work of individuals, groups and organisations to preserve and promote the diverse culture of Asia.

The awards ceremony is slated to be held in September.
