The 69th National Film Awards have been announced. âGangubai Kathawadi', directed by Sanjay Leena Bhansali, received five National Film Awards, including Best Actress for Alia Bhatt. Now, the actress has shared a cute Instagram post while striking a Gangu-style pose.
Alia, while sharing the post, wrote, "To Sanjay Sir.. To the entire crew.. To my family.. To my team
& last but most definitely not the least To my audience.. â¥Ã¯Â¸Â This national award is yours .. because without you ALL none of this would be possible.. seriously!!!

She also congratulated Kriti Sanon, as she shared the award with Alia. The Ganugubai Kathiawadi actress wrote, "P.S - Kriti .. I remember messaging you the day I saw Mimi .. it was such an honest and powerful performance.. I cried and cried.. so so well deserved.. shine on you star⦠the world is your oyster"
As soon as Alia shared the post, many of her industry friends congratulated her. Alia's mother, Soni Razdan, wrote, "Congratulations my darling and congratulations @kritisanon so proud of you both". While Shreya Ghoshal commented, "So so happy! Congratulations". "Congratulations (clapping emojis) to many more", wrote Anil Kapoor. "Love love love you!!! So proud," said Karan Johar.
Kriti Sanon, who shared the award with the actress, also commented on Alia's post and wrote, "let's celebrate soonnnn"
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar's âRocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' alongside Ranveer Singh. The film was a box-office success. Apart from this, Alia also has Farhan Akhtar's âJee Le Zaraa' in her line-up.
At the 69th National Film Awards, Allu Arjun won Best Actor (Male) for his portrayal in Pushpa (The Rise Part I), while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared Best Actress (Female) for their roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, respectively. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, directed by R. Madhavan, was named Best Film.
Pankaj Tripathi was named Best Actor in a Supporting Role. The Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration went to âThe Kashmir Files', while Udham Singh, directed by Shoojit Sircar, was named Best Hindi Film.
