Akshay Kumar was the action king of the 90s. It was very much evident he's here to be an action star when he came on the screen for the first time doing a hand-stand in 1991's âSaugandh'. With the âKhiladi' series, he became a massive name in this genre. The man was reliable, resilient, and could break a dozen bones without being scathed.
One such film was âKhiladiyon Ka Khiladi', which completes 25 years today on June 14. Ever since the boom of social media, users have often debated whether WWE Superstar The Undertaker was a part of that film or not. There's a wrestler in this film who resembles the phenom. Kumar finally breaks his silence.
The actor shared a meme that has gone viral on the Internet where he's in the same frame as the WWE Superstars who have defeated The Undertaker. And this is how he reacted. He wrote- "A hilarious note to mark 25 years to the release of #KhiladiyonKaKhiladi! A fun fact though: it was wrestler Brian Lee who played The Undertaker in the film."

It became one of the highest grossing Hindi films of 1996 and led to more films in the Khiladi franchise later. Also starring Rekha, Raveena Tandon, and Inder Kumar, the story was about a man who lands at an alien land in search of his brother who has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. The slick action was embraced unanimously and so were Kumar's nifty skills.
Talking about The Undertaker, he made his wrestling debut in 1990 and retired in 2020, completing three glorious decades in the WWE . His winning streak at Wrestlemania 30 ended in 2014 when he lost to Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns pinned him too at the same event in 2017 at Wrestlemania 33.
Coming to Kumar's professional front, the actor's gearing up for 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Bell Bottom', 'Sooryavanshi', 'Bachchan Pandey', a film with âMission Mangal' director Jagan Shakti, 'Ram Setu', 'Atrangi Re', 'Prithviraj', 'Oh My God! 2', and perhaps many more to come.
