Actor Anupam Kher who has starred in Lionsgate Play's next release 'Mrs Wilson' shared how his character is pivotal to the plot.
Anupam Kher shared,"Shahbaz is very useful to us in the story, because yes, characters like that existed in real life, but also he gives us another side to Alec. He was someone who is very loyal to Alec and believes in the work he's doing. Both believe they are serving their country. But years later after the war, there is the surprise when Alison goes to meet him in his flat and he's a bit washed up. He's no longer got a function."
The internationally acclaimed actor had travelled to Northern Ireland to play the role of Alec's fixer in 1930s Lahore with much anticipation.
Speaking about it the actor added, "When we look back at those cars, those roads, that air, the smell, the costumes of the 1930s, you know that they were real and yet there was a certain amount of aura, intrigue about them,".
