"It is a very emotional film in the garb of a very strong thriller. It is a very edge-of-the-seat thriller and at the same time, an emotional film. I don't talk much about this film to anyone and I have always wanted to be very quiet about this film," the 40-year-old said here Wednesday.
"This film is about that point in one's life where a character looks back (at his life) and realises that none of his dreams are fulfilled. Then something happens which makes him realise that he and the morality is so fragile," he added.
"Ugly" has been shot partly and Kashyap doesn't see the movie hitting the screens before mid-2013.
