Musician Leslie Lewis is a big fan of Quincy Jones who's made Michael Jackson. "I follow him in a big way; he's my guru.
I met him some six-eight years back and it was a dream come true," says Leslie. The composer-singer lists out some of his favourite songs, a tough task according to Leslie:
Bheegi bheegi raaton mein
This R D Burman song is one of my favourites. I liked it so much that I remixed it. And to my great pleasure, the remixed version too received the same appreciation as the original.
Indian rain
Some might find it odd that I love my own songs. Indian Rain from Colonial Cousins is my favourite for its lyrics and music.
Haseena
It's been 10 years since I sang this song first. Even today when I do live shows, I have people demanding me to sing this musical delight.
Pal and Yaron dosti
Pal sung by KK for Indian Idol has been hugely popular. I created the song on KK's request and am in love with it ever since. Another song that I like is Yaaron dosti badi hi ajeeb hai sung by KK.
