'Allah Duhai' song recreated for 'Race 2'

Four years after their Allah Duhai Hai track from Abbas-Mustan's Race went on to become a chartbuster, the makers of the sequel have decided to recreate the song in the film. It is currently being shot at Mehboob Studios.

Producer Ramesh Taurani says, "We have retained the same phrase Allah duhai hai… and changed the remaining lyrics and are shooting a lavish song. The song will be picturised on Anil Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. We decided that since the song was such a big hit, we should use it in Part 2 as well."

A while ago, Taurani was in the news for his alleged row with Deepika Padukone regarding her dates for the film. The producer says, "Deepika has already shot with us for around 50 days and she is also part of this song."

Whatever issues we had, we sat across the table and solved it before our Turkey schedule. She will emerge as the surprise element in the film. Ramesh Taurani
