Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child, due this September. The duo, who have maintained a low profile on the personal front haven't made any public appearances together off lately. Deepika has not even put her bump on display at any event so far. These include her skipping the most prestigious red carpets like the MET Gala 2024 and the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
While a picture of the two allegedly from their babymoon hit the social media, a latest frame in question left the internet in a chokehold. The picture shows Deepika and Ranveer donning caps with the text "Mom" and "Dad" embroidered on them and holding a sonogram polaroid supposedly of their baby. However, a little digging showed that it was indeed a fake picture probably generated with AI.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's journey to parenthood has been a source of immense joy for their fans. The couple, married for over five years, announced their pregnancy earlier this year through a heartwarming post adorned with hints of their impending bundle of joy, set to arrive in September 2024.
Their decision to embrace parenthood comes as no surprise, with Deepika having previously expressed her and Ranveer's shared excitement for starting a family.
Amidst her bliss, Deepika continues to grace the silver screen with her luminous presence. Following her recent appearance in 'Fighter' alongside Hrithik Roshan, she gears up for an exciting lineup of projects, including the highly anticipated 'Kalki 2989 AD' with Prabhas and the Hindi remake of 'The Intern' alongside veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Moreover, she is also a part of Rohit Shetty's cop-verse titled 'Singham Again.' It also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. âSingham Again' is the third installment of the hit franchise and the film is all set to be released in theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.
Ranveer, on the other hand, will headline Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3', which will arrive in 2025. In 1978, the character was embodied by Amitabh Bachchan. In 2006, Don was reimagined and brought to life by Shah Rukh Khan. The third installment also stars Kiara Advani.
As per reports, the actors have already begun their physical prep starting with agility training. Experts in martial arts from Thailand have been roped in to train them. It is also heard that the filmmaker is keen to up the ante when it comes to stunts.
