IYDF and Maya Ink Tattoo Studio
On the special occasion of India's Independence Day, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) joined forces with Maya Ink Tattoo Studio to organize a heartwarming charitable event at Chennai Middle School. The event, led by Mr. Shyam Ganesh R, aimed to provide 155 students with essential sports equipment and sweet treats, spreading joy and love throughout the school community.
The event took place at Chennai Middle School, located at No. 88, Ward Number 78, Tana Street, Otteri, Purshawalkam, Chennai 600007. School Principal Ms. Vijaya Rani coordinated the event, with active participation from volunteers Sowbarniga, Selva Kumar, and Vijaya Rani.
The event kicked off at 9:30 AM, featuring a variety of activities, including dance performances, singing, speeches, and a ceremonial flag-raising. Following the festivities, volunteers representing IYDF distributed a range of sports equipment, such as throwing balls, volleyballs, shot puts, badminton sets, jump ropes, board games, and soccer balls. The children enjoyed a memorable day filled with fun and excitement.
Reflecting on the event, Mr. Shyam Ganesh R shared, "I am incredibly happy and filled with love, feeling like a vessel through which God has channeled IYDF's compassion and care. I am grateful for this precious opportunity to contribute to the well-being of these children and to bring more love and strength to our local community. I deeply feel the great love that God is sharing through my actions."
The event concluded with laughter and smiles, providing tangible support to the students and strengthening the sense of community and social responsibility. Moving forward, IYDF and Maya Ink Tattoo Studio remain committed to organizing similar charitable initiatives, bringing hope and support to more children in need.
