In a glittering awards ceremony, recently held at the Taj Santacruz in Mumbai, a Trailblazer in Entrepreneurship and the Arts, Tejal Pimpley got awarded as âInspirational & Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year (Dance & Music)'. The award was presented to her by renowned Indian Film Actress, Rakul Preet Singh alongside several other B-Town celebs including Divya Khossla Kumar, Gauhar Khan, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Elnaaz Norouzi, Geeta Kapur, Parul Gulati, Tanuj Virwani, Kashmera Shah, Sudhanshu Pandey & Shivangi Joshi. The winners of IQA 2024 were selected by a panel of Jury members headed by Krishna Jadhav, a visionary leader recognized for his transformative work in FinTech, AI, and digital innovation.
Tejal, Director of CISB (CIS Bureaus Facility Services Pvt. Ltd), stands as a testament to the strength and determination required to excel in the world of entrepreneurship. Born with a sharp business acumen, Tejal embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 20. Today, she is a prominent provider of security and facility management solutions. Under her leadership, the company oversees more than 18,000 employees across various verticals, providing comprehensive services to numerous organizations.
Tejal's path to success has been anything but easy. She acknowledges that entrepreneurship is fraught with challenges, but believes that the potential rewards make it a worthwhile endeavour. Tejal's ability to manage failures and difficulties has been a key factor in her success. She understands that resilience and perseverance are crucial in overcoming the inevitable hurdles that come with running a business. Currently, Tejal's objectives are focused on streamlining financial management and inducing a centralized system within her organization. Despite her significant achievements in the business world, Tejal has never lost sight of her personal passions. She has always had a deep love for dance, which she sought to turn into a more tangible pursuit. In July 2019, she founded the BYou Dance Academy in Mumbai, a dream realized with the support of ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who inaugurated the academy. Growing up, Tejal faced a lack of opportunities to practice and perform her talent, a challenge that fueled her desire to create a platform for others. The BYou Dance Academy aims to provide budding dancers with the stage and support that Tejal herself once lacked. Tejal's creative ambitions didn't stop there. She recently launched BYou Productions, a production house dedicated to creating music albums, short films, OTT movies, theatrical releases, and more. This venture marks Tejal's foray into the entertainment industry, where she aims to bring diverse and engaging content to audiences. Her first major project, a Marathi-language movie titled "Dharma - The Ai Story, starring Pushkar Jog leading Marathi Movie Industry Actor, is set to release in October. The film explores the current AI wave and examines how technology can be both a boon and a bane for the modern generation. "Dharma - The Ai Story" reflects Tejal's keen interest in contemporary issues and her ability to blend them with creative storytelling. The movie delves into the complex relationship between humanity and technology, offering a nuanced perspective on the impact of artificial intelligence on our lives. Through this project, Tejal hopes to spark conversations and inspire viewers to think critically about the role of technology in society.
