The Coastal road is around 53-km- long, and is being constructed till Dahisar. The coastal road is an architectural marvel for India which will help commuters save fuel and time, besides also reducing pollution to a great extent. An official has also predicted that the coastal road project would save almost $100 million per annum in carbon emissions by saving fuel.
