Mayuresh Darne
Twice a college dropout, Mayuresh Darne started his career in a call center before moving on to work with a multinational company for SAS products as a digital marketing executive. This company was a Microsoft Gold Partner. After working for a few years, he decided to explore more options in the digital marketing space. In 2012-2014, when very few people were aware of performance marketing and digital strategies, Mayuresh was managing big-budget campaigns and digital strategies for brands like Tata International, BCCI, HDFC, Flipkart, and many other big names in the FMCG, Health & Wellness, BFSI, and Fashion & Lifestyle sectors.
Initially, he faced many difficulties attending the office due to major commute issues from his small town, Uran, in the Raigad district. However, he overcame all barriers and continued his journey of leading brands on a bigger scale.
As he grew his potential in the digital space, Mayuresh decided to focus on wellness, health & fitness, education, and vegan brands that are making an impact in society and helping the nation achieve Sustainable Development Goals. His knack for developing brands from scratch and making them profitably achieve the million-dollar mark is well noted.
To date, Mayuresh Darne has managed more than 140 crore in marketing budgets and impactful growth strategies for multiple brands, helping them grow sustainably. Mayuresh believes that end users and customers are the key players; they are the ones who can make or break a brand. Therefore, every marketing activity should benefit them and create positive awareness that will be beneficial for the maximum population. He expressed his desire to do something impactful in health & wellness, especially in anti-ageing and in the fashion & lifestyle industry. Furthermore, he envisions bridging career opportunities for his community in Uran, recognizing the challenges they face in career choices due to limited resources and guidance.
He also mentioned his willingness to help struggling entrepreneurs and start-ups who have started with passion but are unable to fulfill their dreams due to technical, marketing, or other issues. He said, "If you have any ideas that will make a positive impact on society or the Indian start-up ecosystem, I am ready to consult with you at no cost. Anyone can message me on my LinkedIn or Instagram, and I will be happy to help."
He adds, "The things that make you rich are free."

In the end, he also said, "With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose."
