In a groundbreaking performance, actress Trriesha Baneirjee has captivated audiences with her portrayal of Maya, a character dealing with nymphomania in the thought-provoking and compelling web series Libaas, which is now available for streaming exclusively on the Atrangii Super App.

Trriesha Baneirjee's role as Maya, a nymphomaniac, delves into the complexities of this mental disorder and how it can negatively impact an individual's health, job, and relationships. Her extraordinary performance shines a spotlight on this often misunderstood condition, shedding light on the challenges that those affected by nymphomania face.

Trriesha shared, "I enjoyed playing the role of Maya, a nymphomaniac in 'Libaas. The role was challenging because nymphomania as a mental disease is not spoken openly about, especially in India. Most people are not even aware of the fact that nymphomania is a mental disorder that can cause distress or negatively affect the health, job, or relationships of the patient. The character has various grey shades to it, and playing that was definitely a joy as an actor."

Trriesha's journey into this unique role began when a close friend recommended her profile to Amit Khanna, the director of Libaas. Initially apprehensive, Trriesha was unsure if she could do justice to the character of Maya. However, after listening to the story and understanding the complexities and nuances of Maya, she was convinced that it was a challenging and incredibly interesting character to portray, especially as her first web series.

A successful project like Libaas thrives on strong camaraderie among the cast and crew. Trriesha and her co-actors built a supportive and comfortable atmosphere on set, which undoubtedly contributed to the outstanding performances delivered by the entire ensemble.

Amit Khanna, the director, played a pivotal role in fostering this positive energy on set. Trriesha Baneirjee remarked, "Amit, in fact, made all of us feel at ease with each other, and the energy between the actors definitely reflected on the set. We all had a great time. Working with experienced actors like Nyra, Ali, Vikas, Aarya, and Krip Suri definitely helped."
