Neighbouring countries India and Nepal have strong ties which are many century old. The cultural similarities and the ethos of both the countries are also what makes Indo-Nepal relationship very unique. To further these cultural ties among both the countries, song 'Chehra' was launched in Mumbai on Tuesday with much funfare where many Bollywood celebrities were in attendance.
Interestingly, runner up of 'Indian Idol 2021' Ashish Kulkarni has not only given his vocals to this beautiful song but he has composed the song as well. During the launch of this song, immensely popular Nepalese actor Rajesh Hamal was also present. Known as 'Mahanayak Of Nepal', he was gracious enough to be present during the launch of the song.

The song was launched amid the presence of many Bollywood celebrities. The producer of the song Rajesh Chowdhury expressed his happiness over creating the song which intends to depict cordial relations between India and Nepal. He said, "This song is the symbol of the beautiful relation India and Nepal share. We want that Indo-Nepal ties should strengthen even more and the cross cultural exchanges should happen more frequently."
He added further, "Through this song we wanted to depict that how being two different countries, India and Nepal are soul brothers. Both the countries are similar in many ways. People of Nepal are also good at understanding and speaking Hindi. Through this song, we wanted to bring the talents of both the countries together and thats the reason talents from both the countries have worked to create this melodious song. I am very much confident that this song will help strengthen and improve the ties of both the countries and help people of both the countries come even more closer."
Arafat Mehmood has beautifully penned this song to which Ashish Kulkarni has composed and sung the song in his own unique style. Ashish says, "Recently I went to Nepal for a show. I was mesmerized with the beauty of that country. While composing this song, I took lot of inspiration from the ethos and the beauty of the county."
He continues, "The producer of this song Rajesh Chowdhury not only gave the chance to sing and compose this song, but he gave me full freedom to do so and that's the reason that this song has turn out so beautifully. The kind of faith he has bestowed upon me is something which I am never going to forget. I am sure that people from both the countries are going to love this offering."
Nepalese actor Niti Shah has beautifully enacted her part in this song so does Nepal's heartthrob Prince Bishwokarma. Indian actor Roshmi Banik too has impressed with her acting skills and garnered praised from the makers. All three of them were in attendance during the launch of the song.
During the launch the director of 'Chehra' Dashrath Sunar, lyricist Arafat Mehmood, actor Rajiv Pallai, director Sandip Malwani and actor Subhi Sharma also made their presence felt.
