Mr. Bajrangi Prasad Yadav

We often see politicians as the people who merely serve the world of politics, but some politicians selflessly work toward the betterment of society. These people work day and night to help those in need; they think about others' development and growth. Bajrangi Prasad Yadav is one such politician and social activist whose ulterior motive is to uplift others.

Bajrangi Prasad Yadav is the national secretary of Bharatiya Janta Party, Kisan Morcha, and in charge of Chattishgarh state. He hails from Sahibganj District, Jharkhand, and has been doing social work there even before he fully came into the world of politics and philanthropy. In the past, he has also been the president of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) from the year 1987 to 1990. Since childhood, he had a dream of uplifting the poor section of society who had the potential to make it big in the future. Mr. Yadav is a person who not makes promises but also sticks to them and turns his words into reality.

With the experience of more than 12 years in environment balancing, Mr. Bajrangi has delicately worked towards making the environment pollution free. He has also made many people aware of air pollution, its harmful effects, and steps for its prevention. Taking inspiration from the ‘Namami Gange Project' and with the motive to tackle the problem of deforestation Bajrangi Prasad planted more than 12 thousand trees across the district. His work towards reforming the environment was honored by the state of Jharkhand, and he was even given an award for the same.

Even when the world was hit by the deadly Coronavirus and the entire nation was under lockdown, Mr. Yadav did not even think twice before coming forward and helping others. He distributed food amongst 21 thousand of families under the ‘Modi Aahar' and gave Rs.500 per family under the ‘Modi Dakshina' program. Each family got 15 kgs of food grains, including rice, lentils, cooking oil, and spices. Many people lost their jobs during the pandemic and had hardly any money to buy the necessities, but Bajrangi Prasad ensured that no one slept hungry.

Talking about his motive and the appreciation he has been getting, Bajrangi Prasad Yadav shares, "Seeing people suffer made my heartache and I always had an urge to do something for them. That is when I decided to help the needy no matter what. Does not matter if anyone needs clean drinking water or financial help; I always help as many people as I can, and I try to organize as many camps as possible. Sometime back, we arranged a camp for employment, clean drinking water, and health camp for the Primitive Tribes and Pahadiya(ST) people under the ‘Aadim Janjati Uthan Samiti' program. Like this, we have organized numerous other camps, programs, and drives. "

Under the banner of ‘Arjun Herbal Medical Education & Research foundation,' Mr. Bajrangi has been providing people with shelter, food, medication, etc., in times of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, etc., for the last 20 years. Under the same banner, mass wedding ceremonies are being conducted for the poor girls of the economically backward society. He also believes that woman empowerment is very necessary for the betterment of society. Thus he always encourages women to study and become self-dependent.

Mr. Bajrangi Prasad Yadav has turned his promises into reality, and in the future, he envisions making this society a better place to live. Bajrangi also encourages others to do social work because he believes that when we humans support each other, our country will grow.
