On the auspicious day of the 74th Republic Day of India, the marvelous duo of Ananta and Khushiyaan celebrated the occasion at a place they call the ‘Aashram'. A home that provides a roof to people from of all ages under one shelter. A place where you'll find the elderly resting in their sweet spaces and young children (boy and girl child) who were homeless once and now finding their home in their warm presence. A place where there are smiles at every corner of its existence, a place where you'll feel the warmth of being at home.

To give these children a reason to know how special they are and for the elderly to forget all their pain who better to inaugurate the function than Ms. Smriti Silwal.

Coming from a small town in Uttarakhand, she is an inspiration for all the children who have big dreams in their eyes and have an aspiration to achieve more than they are destined to. She is an upcoming star in the entertainment industry who has had her fair share of struggle but is not set on a ride to become a household name! Her presence brought a sense of motivation and empowerment to the children as someone they can look up to, fighting against all odds and achieving excellence.

The function commenced with the zealous hosting of the Indian Flag by respected Mr Rakesh Kinger , Ms Smriti Silwal and members of the Ananta Khushiyaan. The environment quickly turned into a fun and energy filled domain with energetic dance performances by the 7 boys from the "Arman Bal Niwas" and the 14 girls from "Mangalaben Balika Niwas" . Miss Smriti could be seen exchanging steps with these young kids and enjoying her heart out. These celebrations went out for hours before kids released how hungry they were with all the dancing. After being exhausted with all the dancing these kids munched their way on the snacks and then spend some lovely time with Miss. Smriti.

Days like these which make us proud as Indians should also be days when we give back to society. Safe to say, the smiles on these children's faces and the pride of being an Indian have brought about a new spirit in the Team of Ananta Khushiyaan! Vande Mataram!
