Tell us about your journey so far and what inspired you to start Skinhance?

I completed my MBBS from Sion Medical College, Mumbai, and my MD in the skin from Naval Institute, INHS Asvini, Mumbai. With over all 15 years of experience in the skincare industry, I started Skinhance six years ago. It believes in providing the best results possible within defined resources to my patients.

How do you plan to bring something different to the table in this era of cut-throat competition?

There is hundred percent truth in this; the competition in the market is too high, but what I feel is that if you are passionate about something and you put your heart and soul into it, then no one can stop you from being successful. Skinhance keeps itself well versed with the knowledge of its subject, and we also keep ourselves updated about the new advancements in the field, which gives us an upper hand in the market. The key to being successful is being loyal to your patients, listing to their concerns without any judgments, and giving them the best possible solutions. Also, always remember to keep upgrading your skills, and you should never stop learning.

Have there been any roadblocks? If yes, what lessons have you learned from them?

Just like many, I have also faced a lot of roadblocks throughout my journey. My path was not easy, but I stood determined and kept taking lessons from my hardships and mistakes. A few of the lessons I learned were that you should never stress out and always try to find solutions with a calm mind. Always remember that every cloud has a silver lining, and every day is a new day, so you should always try to look for positive aspects and should always start your day with an optimistic mindset. Remember to keep working towards your goal because, at the end of that day, you have to make yourself happy and fulfilled to give the best to your patients.

What advice would you give to your patients as a skin and haircare expert? Also, what is Skinhance doing for the betterment of skin and hair?

When it comes to advising my patients, I only tell them one thing, ‘Invest your time and energy in skincare because the glow you get by taking care of your skin today will stay for a long time.' I believe that our skin is a reflection of our wellness, and by maintaining a proper skincare routine, you will get healthy skin and make you and your skin feel relaxed.
