Ruhan Komandur crowned champion in the AITA Under-14 (CS-7) National ranking series

Karnataka boy, Ruhan Komandur surged his way beating Punjab’s Himanish Brinda in straight sets of 7-5, 6-0 to claim the trophy.

The national-level ranking tournament was held in Roots club, Zirakpur, Punjab.

Earlier, in the run-up to the finals, the student of Bishop Cotton Boy's School, Bangalore, beat the Top seed, Shiva Sharma, from Haryana 6-0, 2-6, 6-2.

An elated Ruhan, speaking about the title win said " It is a nice and proud feeling to win another title".

The soaring temperature of 45 degree during this week made the tournament conditions more challenging than ever.

Up next, 12 year old Bengaluru boy will be playing in the main draw of the Under-14 Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) in New Delhi.
