Prof. (Dr.) Gurbir Singh Khera, CFA, is a highly qualified and experienced finance and management educator who believes in integrity in thought and action. He has been awarded the Education Excellence Award 2022 for Most Innovative Business School Educator, presented by Actress Ameesha Patel.

Organised by one of the leading branding companies, Brands Impact, Education Excellence Awards were initiated with an agenda to recognise and acknowledge the real doers of the education sector and provide them with a platform to come into the limelight they deserve.

Dr. Gurbir Singh Khera, a strong believer of empowering learners through right education, is an Accredited Management Teacher (Finance), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA-ICFAI), and a finance faculty to US and UK accredited business courses. He has worked as a Founder-Core Faculty at Amity Business School and has also been on the panels of esteemed B-Schools, Media schools and film schools which require finance skills and management orientation. He has always been passionate about teaching and soon after starting teaching B-School Students, he got certified in Strategic Thinking and Leadership for Growth in March 2017 from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

He excels in teaching various areas of finance and business economics, as well as conducting workshops on accounting, business law, and more. He is also a corporate trainer and a transformational coach who uses his vast network for mutual learning and benefit.

The Education Excellence Awards being a step towards showing gratitude to those who have immensely contributed in the Indian education system, Dr. Gurbir Singh Khera, who has more than two decades of qualitative teaching and management experience, has been EX-HOD Finance at Asian Business School, Noida and Programme-Chair finance at reputed accredited Western International University.

Dr. Khera is a distinguished TEDx speaker who delivered a talk on the theme 'Dare to Revolutionize' on 19th March 2023. Presently, he has successfully completed IIMK's Professional Certificate Programme in AI & ML for Business Excellence (eMDP) from 1st April 2022 to 2nd April 2023 for Senior Level Executives, a 10-month program conducted by IIM-Kozhikode (Weekend Classes). He was awarded the Alumnus status of IIMK in May 2023. To continue his passion and commitment to developing himself and his learners, Gurbir graduated from Cornell's Executive Management Programme for Senior Professionals in Aug'2023.

He got certified in Strategic Thinking and Leadership for Growth (March 2017) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He also attended Call of Destiny (COD) to develop himself further for human interventions and was chosen for Speak to Fortune (May 8th to 15th, 2017) by Arfeen Khan. Additionally, he completed the "Future Learning and Development Leader Programme'' at KPMG, Delhi (Pioneer batch-2021).

Moreover, on 26th August 2022, Dr. Gurbir was conferred an 'Honorary Doctorate' in finance based on his work experience, teaching and achievements till date by the World Peace Institute of United Nations (WPIUN). He was also given Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Best Teacher Award 2022-Finance on October 15th, 2022, on the eve of International Teacher's Day & World Students' Day 2022 by CPAC registered with Niti Ayog. This month, he got nominated and was awarded-Most Innovative Business School Educator Award Under the category ‘Education Excellence Awards 2022' organised by Brands Impact, Delhi.
