She received the Maharashtra Gaurav Award in presence of the honorable Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. Payal was all smiles as she shared pictures on her social media. She always dreamt of settling in Mumbai and now she has won the Maharashtra Gaurav Award and that's a long journey. These awards are extremely necessary and it gives necessary validation to change-makers such as Payal to do more and contribute to society. It has been an absolutely inspirational journey by Payal.

We got in touch with Payal and here is what she has got to say, "I am extremely happy to be receiving this award. It's such an honor.
It was a very difficult time in the pandemic and it needed all of us to put up a brave and United front. It challenged us to stand for one another and prove that we humans are truly caring. Moments like these make it worthwhile for us and it inspires me to do even more for society not just as an actress but also as someone who could bring change. It's been a journey of change and I have gained so much love from people. It's very humbling. A huge thank you to the panel for this award and all the esteemed guests present."
