In one such incident, a company based in New York City had posted about the violation of their business account, where they mentioned that they experienced an Instagram breach by professional hackers, who apparently were based in Nigeria. They had begun posting fake, false, and unrelated investment content on their page, with the evil intention to lure the followers to gain their crypto wallet and cash app information. Immediately an incident response plan was engaged with immediate updates through all communication channels for alerting members, for which a private cybersecurity expert and contractor was plugged in for regaining the control, which was carried by M.
