What is worth noting is that she was born into a musical family. She was referred to as the "nightingale of India. In a career spanning nearly eight decades, she has over 30,000 songs to her credit. Furthermore, it is safe to say that all Lata Mangeshkar songs are etched in the hearts of every music lover, and people have revered her in the Indian Subcontinent.
She breathed her last on the 6th of February, 2022. On the occasion of her first death anniversary, lots of people took to expressing what she meant to them. A special note that got her admirers teary-eyed was from her favourite niece Rachana Shah and a close family friend Rhythm Wagholikar.
