KC Bokadia and Yogi Adityanath
Producer-Director KC Bokadia met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence on Tuesday. During the meeting Bokadia said that the incumbent government has developed an atmosphere which is conducive for film making and activities related to film production have increased in UP.
The producer-director said that he wanted to set up a Film City and Film Training Institute in the Purvanchal region of the state. He proposed that the institute could be set up either in Varanasi or Sonbhadra district.
The CM said that the government is promoting activities related to film production as a result films are being made in UP by several producers. He said that the state has good locations for the film production and there is no problem of law and order. Yogi said that to promote the film industry a world class Film City is being set up by the government in Gautam Buddha Nagar. He said that the state government will extend all possible help to Bokadia for setting up a Film City and Film Training Institute in Purvanchal. (UNI)
