Representing the state, Ruhan Komandur settled in with a silver medal in the Singles event and a Bronze medal in the Team event at the CISCE National Sports and Games Under 14 Lawn Tennis Tournament 2022 conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) held at the Bengal Tennis Association in Kolkata.
This year the tournament showcased some of the best tennis talents of more than 250 students across 12 zones within the country and UAE.
During the week, Bangalore's Bishop Cotton Boys school's, 12-year-old Ruhan beat players across various states including UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, West Bengal and participants from UAE to reach the final.
In the run up to the finals the Karnataka boy defeated Faiz Ali from Uttar Pradesh. In the title clash, Ruhan faced Maharashtra's K Joshi and stood runner's up.

With this win, Ruhan will get an opportunity to represent CISCE at the Khelo India Games and also represent ICSCE in Lawn Tennis Under 14 Category.
