Mithaas Services, founded by Devanshi Sharma, strives to become a leading agency in their space. Devanshi, a prodigy, who is a national best-selling author, started writing when she was in class 9 and published her first book, ‘Unimaginably True', a romantic novel in 2012. By starting her career early on, the 24-year-old understood the nuances of the writing and publishing field which gave her a lot of insights. When asked why she chose this path she says,
"Entrepreneurship for me is a simple way of empowering more people. When we started Mithaas Services, the idea was to make a new world with words. Words have so much power- be it in marketing, publishing, or movies". She was working for an MNC for 3 years, but the idea of starting up and building a new world with words was her reason to take the leap and start her own company.

Mithaas offers almost 47 services, with their main three services being - Content Writing, Publishing, and Mentorship. The main USP of their workshops is their focus on ‘implementative learning', which they define as a simple learning method that focuses on providing practical solutions to the problems writers have. They've published almost 80 books and have conducted over 400 workshops. Every author who works with them becomes a part of the agency's extended family, receiving help at every juncture of their journey.

When asked what inspired them to christen the company, "Mithaas", which translates to "sweet" in Hindi, she answers that they began the company with one aim - to be able to provide a sweet experience with their work, their timely and quality-driven services to their clients and hence the name.

The majority of their clients seek publishing services, content writing services, or mentorship to grow as a writer. Their vision for Mithaas is to create a brand that makes a difference in the way people see content. "Words are very powerful, be it in marketing or publishing. Our brand purpose is to remind everyone that Content is the game-changer. We also aim at helping young and growing writers empower themselves with our skill-development workshops." Devanshi says.

She understood the need for publishing houses to be more author-centric and how to tap the right chord when marketing a book. And this is the same reason why their authors have the last word on the design, edits, and launch plan, which has been well received.

With a hardworking team of 12, the company has reached over 10,000 writers in mentorship projects and they are on to publishing their 80th book this month. They have also worked for multinational companies for content writing and major mentorship projects, all within just 2 years.

When asked about their most promising authors, Devanshi mentions 11-year-old Serah James, who has authored 5 books - 3 under the wing of Mithaas Services. She also mentions kid authors, Kavya Raj Agrawal, Oeshi Sonika who according to her have a strong vision, and Dr. Sharmila Ghuge, an inspirational author, who writes beautiful quotes.

With her latest release, ‘I Think I Am In Love' in 2019, which instantly became a hit, another one is in the making under Mithaas and can be expected to be published in the next couple of months.

Her advice for anyone looking to follow in her footsteps she responds, "When you are writing, just focus on that. Write for yourself first, then for the readers, and lastly to get published. With that vision, you will do very well!"
