Disha Jha - A Film producer takes charge for making a film best in public’s interest

The film is directed by debutant director Prince Dhiman after his achievements on the small screen … Konman is an exciting cyber crime drama, the film starts ADHYAYANSUMAN and Rajesh Sharma in the lead. The film has been completely shot in the suburbs of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking about her second film as producer Disha Jha says I like to choose scripts with a little bit of a social message which is in the public interest… In being and entertaining film within itself Konman also raises awareness for the audiences against cyber crime. In today's society it's necessary to be educated against such crimes. I'm very excited about the film and hoping the film creates a good buzz in the audience as well.

Disha Jha, the daughter of film maker Prakash Jha and actress Deepti Naval is presently in Kanpur completing her film. The very youthful film producer talked to us about her film - and why she chose Kanpur as the location - " Kanpur has a very untouched realistic rustic feel to the entire city which worked in the favour of the film. During the recee of the film we found everything we needed in Kanpur, which made our film gain its desired look … we shot the film in Unnao which is a little towards the outskirts of the Kanpur City… The shoot will start Oct 7th and actors Adhyayan Suman and Rajesh Sharma are playing crucial roles in the film…

Since her parents have been so active in the industry on asking Disha what has taken her soo long to come to the lime light .. She says " Both my parents are extremely supportive.. however they always wanted me to move forward and gain recognition for my own work and potential. I grew up in a boarding school in Panchgani … after assisting my dad in several projects when I decided to do production - it was more for the love of cinema - and not just to make headlines … Disha adds - "Dad is more of a mentor to me and mom is more of a friend.. Dad always is the go to person for any professional advice I need at work … or if u get stuck with something he always rescues me … where as mom and me are more like friends and I can speak to her freely about anything anywhere… we bond over emotions, travel, art and music …

Disha's parents have been divorced when she was nearly 1 year old … o speaking to her about this - she says "Both my parents have a messy den friends since I have seen them together … the have immense respect for each other and it doesn't seem like we are not 1 family … as we have always been together on every festival - right from dropping me to school or picking me up for my holidays, New Years , Diwali we have always made it a point to be together … so I'm very fortunate like that .. all credit goes to my parents for main ting their bond soo beautifully."
