With the right diet and yoga, Aarushi lost 10 kg in two months to play the character of the mother in the film. The film not only won two International Awards but also went to the august Cannes Film Festival.

In the Kannada music series Maravairi, Aarushi played a lead role that comes from the LGBTQ community, and arguably, it has its own skirmish. The actress marked her foray into the filmy world by donning the character of the main protagonist in the Malayalam film Godha (2017). While the town talked about her fidelity and perfection, no one seemed to know that Aarushi had to put on weight to portray a wrestler's role. The actress took three months, followed a strict diet, trained herself rigorously and auditioned multiple times to get the role. She trained at Irrfan Khan's Fight Elite MAA to do justice to the role.
Aarushi Vedikha's hard-nosed action sequence in the film Godha shows a level of dedication. She has played a lead role in the Marathi film Unmatta and was glimpsed essaying an important character in the Malayalam film Valiyaperunnal. She hails from a family whose roots go deep into martial arts. Therefore, the actress also has good experience in mixed martial arts, wrestling, and kickboxing.
Aarushi Vedikha has come a long way. Expressing her thoughts on her journey, the actress says, "It's been a wonderful journey to date. Follow your passion. Do what you like and it will bring you unimaginable openings." We totally agree with Aarushi! The actress has various projects looking over the horizon, including a Tamil film and a Hindi short film.
