Actor Akhil Kumar relives his LaLiga Hosting experience.

Akhil Kumar is already well known for hosting national and international events including film festivals, music festivals show etc and acting in some award-winning short films and his featuring on several television networks.

However, many may not know the young actor's breakthrough came when he went to Spain as a guest for Laliga Santander Experience for the Spanish football league Laliga and got to to host the on ground experience of a match in the southern city of Seville between world's most famous club Real Madrid and hosts Sevilla F.C.

Akhil Kumar remembers, when he got to be on the stadium's ground and got close to Worldwide loved superstars of Real Madrid take on Seville FC club. He shows a special admiration for footballing Legend Zinedine Zidane at the time coach of Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo was playing for the club at that time too.

Akhil was also also handed a badge of respect as a Fan Ambassador by one of the footballing legends of the league which had a picture of him holding the Laliga trophy which the young actor host said was a dream come true and post that he was seen promoting the league in India after his return.

Akhil Kumar got a true behind the scenes experience as he was invited to visit and witness the player dressing rooms, dugouts, club cafes, museum, press conferences for a meet and greet etc.

He even got a chance to meet and interact with some of the star cast of the hit series ‘Games of Thrones' including Sansa Stark Sophie Turner) as they were also shooting in Spain and had come to see the same match at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville , spain.

Akhil Kumar was also taken for a LALIGA Santander experience wherein he got to visit cafes run by LaLiga clubs, meet their ex players and also got an opportunity to experience the local football culture in Spain. Laliga also made an experience video around Akhil's time and interactions there.

It also turned into a cultural visit as he was also taken around local museums, historical and architectural landmarks and even got to try the delicious spanish Tapas food like potato bravas, croquettas , Paella , and interact with the lovely warm spanish people.

It sounds like an unique experience for an Indian to experience and glimpse into the European football culture which seems a world away but a great insight how the magic of football is true and alive in places where people dare to go and visit.

Akhil Kumar has also been seen promoting Laliga giveaway contests off late wherein fans have been getting unique opportunities to win official Laliga merchandise including a special Laliga giveaway that is coming soon because of the festive season.

On his next plans, Akhil mentions that it's too early to say anything but being an ardent football fan I've always wanted to show and bring football culture to India and with things in the football scene in the country changing I've been exploring different prospects like collaborations for trainings, fan club culture etc which will eventually lead us to looking at a possibility of documenting this in real life and showing it to the enthusiastic football fans via a documentary or whatever other best options we have. Let's hope for the best.

On the work front the young actor mentioned that he has worked with Onwards and Upwards Productions in a short film titled Nyas which will hopefully be up for release soon.

Apart from this he also mentioned that gave a Tedx talk at IIM Lucknow recently which should also hopefully release on the TEDx YouTube channel soon.
