'360 degree impact' enlightened women's conference successfully organized by Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Mumbai

Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Mumbai under the auspices of All India Terapanth Mahila Mandal organised a Maharashtra level enlightened women's conference '360 degree impact' program which was held in Terapanth Bhavan, Kandivali East, Mumbai on 11 April 2022 in the presence of Acharyashri Mahashraman's virtuous disciples, Sashanshree Sadhvishree Jinrekha and Sadhvishree Rakesh Kumari thana 9.

The programme started with the auspicious Namaskar Mahamantra by sadhvishree.

The grand opening of the event was done by National President (ABTMM) Neelam Sethia along with respected ABTMM dignitaries, TMM Mumbai President Rachna Hiran, Minister Alka Mehta and team.

National President of ABTMM Neelam Sethia, General Secretary Madhu Derasaria, Trustee Prakashdevi Tated, Former President Kumud Kachhara, Former General Secretary Taruna Bohra, Consultant Vimala Nahta, Maharashtra in-charge Nirmala Chandalia, Executive Member Jayshree Jogad, president and secretary of various regions of Maharashtra, sponsor families, all past presidents, consultants, respected dignitaries of all organisations and attending woman power were welcomed and given brief information on MM Mumbai activities by the diligent president of Mumbai Mahila Mandal, Rachna Hiran.

Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Mahila Mandal has been working towards the betterment of society in many cities all over India.

This event, held in three phases, was to promote women empowerment. Sadhvi Sardara's life was depicted through a very well choreographed act.

Sadhvishrees imparted valuable knowledge about society and public welfare. The steps taken by the Mahila Mandal nationwide were discussed. Mira-Bhayander's MLA Geeta Jain also participated in the program and told that despite the opposition of many people, she believed in herself and narrated her inspiring journey from being a doctor to becoming an MLA.

In the second phase of the event a panel discussion was organised in which actress Sayantani Ghosh, litterateur Alka Lamba, Mumbai high court advocate Neeta Jain, Neurologist Dr. Priyanka Taated along with more than 900 women and girls participated. Topics like women's upliftment, rights and problems faced by her were discussed during this phase.

In the press conference, National President Neelam Sethia along with Mumbai President Rachna Hiran, informed about various schemes and programs runned by TMM, including prevention of feticide, girl protection schemes, economic and mental development of girls, education of people in rural areas, free computer and tuition centre, opening of free homeopathy centers in medically distant states and regions, free health examination, mammography, eye and dentistry, immunization, free medicines and spectacles distribution, health insurance, development of small and cottage industries to make women self-reliant, providing purifiers, biogas, solar energy, water tanks and other facilities to the needy areas.

TMM is the brand ambassador of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and is also ahead in the Swachh Bharat campaign. Various public awareness campaigns are being run by the organization to make people aware of hygiene and cleanliness.

AITMM has made social work and public welfare its lifelong motto. At the same time, it also honors those women who have done any commendable work in the field of art, education, sports, social, cultural or national interest so that they are encouraged and motivated to serve the public.
