Though Nadira Zaheer Babbar's theatre group, Ekjute, has been keeping a low profile in Mumbai, the troupe has been travelling extensively with their plays throughout the country.
Nadira's daughter Juhi said that they were planning to take their play, Pencil Se Brush Tak, which is based on the life of MF Husain, on tour. This play was first staged as part of the group's silver jubilee celebrations two years ago, where Sushant Singh was seen in the lead. This time around, actor Anoop Soni will essay the character of the artist. Soni will also be seen in Salim Arif's Kharashein and Ekjute's Begum Jaan.
Ekjute also has plans to stage a children's play - their last kiddie offering was Sone Ki Machli.
Jariwala to be Gandhi once more

Too many changes are annoying!
Sheikh Sami Usman's Annoyance, about a man who seeks psychiatric treatment, but ends up driving the doctor mad, is seeing a change in cast. This is the fourth time the female lead has been changed. The play was launched with Nazneen Madan, followed by Trishla Patel, Anni Sharma and now, Sarika Singh will play the role. All this juggling may warrant the lead actor, Jagdish Rajpurohit to seek psychiatric help off stage as well!
