Former Sri Lanka captain and chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya could lose his post over a leaked sex tape with him and his ex-partner Maleeka Sirisena that has gone viral

Sri Lankan cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya is in trouble over the leaked sex tape with his ex-partner Maleeka Sirisena, which many reports are suggesting was done by him to seek revenge.
Maleeka, who is an actress and air hostess, who has acted in films like Super Six (2017), and Jayasuriya got married in 2012.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Jayasuriya in danger of losing his post as chief selector with the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board unlikely to extend his term. The newspaper quoted highly placed sources in Sri Lanka as ssying that Jayasuriya may resign after the Champions Trophy and if he does not, then the board is unlikely to extend his tenure.
"Recently his private life video is leaked to the media and it is very bad public perception and we don't want him to continue as a selector. He has disgraced the game and the nation," one of the top SLC board officials was quoted as saying from Colombo.
The 47-year-old ex-all rounder, who is in England for the Champions Trophy 2017 with the Sri Lankan team, hasn't yet spoken on the issue.
The attacking left-hander has scored over 13,000 runs and taken 323 wickets in a storied ODI career.
Jayasuriya first two wives were Sumudu Karunanayak and Sandra De Silva.
Jayasuriya is not the first cricketer to get involved in a sex scandal, the others include Aussie legend Shane Warne, Englishmen Kevin Pietersen and Mike Gatting, New Zealand fast bowler Daryl Tuffey, Pakistanis Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Akram and Saqlain Mushtaq.
