RCB superstar Chris Gayle will miss today's IPL tie against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium after the big-hitting Jamaican rushed home after becoming a father.

However, Gayle's absence is unlikely to make a major difference to the Royal Challengers Bangalore as skipper Virat Kohli and crowd favourite AB de Villiers have been in blistering form which has been enough to make up for Gayle, who has scores of 1 and 0 from the first two IPL-9 matches.
Gayle, however, scored an unbeaten 100 at the Wankhede Stadium during the World T20 match against England.
