It is due to the defective and immature economic planning, in spite of having stalwarts like Dr Manmohan Singh and P Chidambaram. What are they up to?
The most recent is the rise in petroleum prices. It is a hard hit for all other products, as the cost of transportation also increased. Manmohan Singh's government will go down in history as the most corrupt, and inefficient government that has totally on all fronts security, curbing inflation, scams and scandals, etc. The Prime Minister should resign and make way for a more energetic, efficient and sincere team.

What will happen to the common man if it has to bear with an inflation of 11.05 per cent.
Last December, the country had noted an inflation of around 3.5 and now, the figure is way beyond comparison.
With the prices of daily necessity like vegetables, oil, fruits and other ration on the rise, the only thing left now is to cut down on the number of meals.
This is the worst situation a government can face and the politicians, who call themselves the caretakers of the masses, should realise how inefficient they are and step down with grace.
